How to Overcome Fear by Embracing the Unknown

Hi this is Coach Trish,
I'm going to speak more about fear today because fear is one of my favorite topics. I truly believe, everything we don't do, that we want to do, every time we're held back, it's because of fear. If you can learn to overcome fear, I'm not gonna say master it, because it's a constant process, but if you can learn to overcome fear, you will live a freer, happier life. Another tip from Rhonda Britten, from yesterday, about how to distinguish the difference between fear and your intuition; fear speaks in terms of the past and in terms of the known. So fear speaks about things you know, "Remember the last time you did that? You know what happened!" Intuition, God, Spirit speaks in the unknown. The more comfortable you are moving into the unknown, the more open to possibilities you will be, the freer you will be of fear. That's another way that many people are, predict success. The measure of how successful someone will be, is how comfortable they are with the unknown. So try to become comfortable with the unknown and it's just practice. Overcoming fear is like a muscle, you move a little bit into the unknown, it's scary, you go anyway. Try something new, try some new thing, you overcome that fear and that muscle gets stronger. You overcome small fears, then you overcome medium fears and before you know it, you're overcoming big fears. So go out, try something new, hear that voice of fear but listen to your voice of intuition. The little voice inside, the voice of Spirit. You can tell the difference.
