Hi this is Coach Trish,
Today's life tip is part 5 of my 10 part series of how to improve your career courtesy of a Brian Tracy program I'm listening to. Number 5 is work ethic. Develop good work habits, good work ethic. Become the hardest working person you know. But don't just work hard, be effective. Being efficient is working hard, being efficient is doing things right but being effective is doing the right thing. Constantly ask yourself, "What is the best use of my time right now?" If you can do that and develop a good work ethic, you will become indispensable. You'll be indispensable at any job, indispensable in any group that you're a member of, you'll be indispensable. Another way to look at it is how much supervision do you need? Only the top 10% of people can work without supervision. If you can work as though everyone were watching you when nobody is, you will not require any supervision. People who require supervision, require someone to be paid to supervise them and that pay is going to come out of the money that they would be making. So if you can work independently, without supervision, you make all the pay. And few people can do that, it's the top 10%. But frankly if you're reading this or watching this video, you are either in the top 10% or you are on your way to the top 10% because the bottom 90 won't take the time to do this, they won't take the time to improve themselves. The majority of the people are watching TV right now. If you would like a 30 complimentary consultation, sign up on my contact me page and request it there. And always remember YOU ARE POWERFUL!
