Learn to Save Money, 4 in series of 10 on How to Increase Your Income

Hi this is Coach Trish, 
My life tip for today is part 4 in my 10 part series, 10 ways to improve your career from Brian Tracy. Number 4 is money. You need money to make money right? You always hear that. But you know what you really need, is you need to learn to save money. Because money gives you freedom. What if the opportunity of a lifetime comes along and you don't have the money to take advantage of it? You need to learn to save money. And just start small. Save a little bit of money every day, every week, every month and as you save a little bit, you learn to save a little more and you learn to save a little more and pretty soon you might become addicted to having money in the bank! It's so important, we think about money giving us the freedom to do stuff, go where we want, things like that. But money also gives you the freedom to take advantage of opportunities when they come about. If there's something you really want to do, something to improve your career, a class a seminar, things like that, you have to have the money to do it. So start now, just save a little bit, I don't care if it''s a dollar a week, but start, and you're on your way! Are You Taking Your Own Advice?

Hi this is Coach Trish,
My life tip for today is, take your own advice. I had this old boss who used to have a saying that I loved. He would say, "Take my advice, I'm not using it!" And that made me think, do you use your own advice? Cause I don't use my own advice a lot of times. If you think about it, we know so much! You have learned so much in your lifetime, that if you stop and think and just maybe ask for answers, let your mind churn, you will come up with the answers. You will come up with what you need to do. You probably know what you need to do, but are you doing it? Are you following your own advice? If you're not, sit down for a moment with yourself and imagine you're talking with your best friend or your child or your nephew, someone who would take advice from you. And they ask you, whatever it is that you're pondering in your life. Whatever that thing is that you haven't been able to figure out or you can't decide on. Imagine someone asking you that question, how would you tell them to figure it out? What would you suggest that they do? Bet you're bottom dollar, that is what you should be doing! So there you have it. Are you taking your own advice?

Who Are You and Why Should I Care?

HI this is Coach Trish,
My life tip for you today is on getting your message across. Whether you're speaking to a group or whether you're one person or whether you're trying to convince your kids of something, there's 3 things you have to remember. These are from my mentor Les Brown. Who are you? What have you got? And why do I care? Now by who are you, I mean why are you qualified to speak about what you're speaking about? Did you have some experience that made you qualified, do you have some education that makes you qualified, why are you qualified? What have you got? Now, tell me what you've got. What is your message that you're trying to get across? And then, why do I care? How can I use it? How's it going to affect my life? How's it going to help me to make my life better? So there you go, when you're speaking to someone, let them know; why are you qualified to speak on it, what have you got and how can it help them to improve their life or get what they want. Sometimes it's Good to Live Life Off Balance

Hi this is Coach Trish,
 My life tip for you today is get off balance. Sometimes when you need to get things done, you need to get off balance. That's how we get things done. Great things are rarely done when you're balanced. However, beware that it does not become a habit. Because that is no way to live your life on an ongoing basis. For example, when I was throwing my event, LIFE 2013 back in November, I was completely off balance for 3, maybe 4 weeks before the event. But I needed to be, my entire focus was on that event, making it a success and that's where it needed to be. But after the event was over, I needed to find my balance again. I needed to sleep again, spend some time with my kids, re-find that balance. And sometimes it's okay to get off balance, we need to get things done. But if you stay there long term, other areas of your life will start to suffer. So every now and then, just take a look at your life and are you feeding your spirit, your soul? Are you spending time with the people closest to you, feeding those relationships? Are you taking care of your health? Are you sleeping? Are you taking care of your business, your finances? These are all areas we need to focus on, but every now and then, one of them will need more attention than the others, and that's okay. But just find your way back when it's all over.

Negative Law of Attraction, or Using Law of Attraction Backwards

Hi this is Coach Trish,
My life tip for today is about negative law of attraction. Cause law of attraction work in both ways right? Positive and negative. And one of the things that really helps the law of attraction to work is if you have strong feelings. The stronger the feelings, the stronger the emotions, the faster its going to draw towards you the thing that you're thinking about. So the key is to think about something, visualize it, get that feeling of having it, right. Well the same thing can happen on the negative.
 About 2 years ago I was on my way somewhere that I didn't want to go and I was mad! I was seriously ticked off, I was seething. And I was driving there and I was like "I don't want to go here, this person's making me go and I don't want to go" and I was so mad. I was so mad I wanted to hit somebody and then I did! I crashed my car. And I really liked that car. But I tell you, looking back on it, that was no coincidence! That was exactly how I felt. I just felt like smashing into somebody, I was so mad, and then I did. So, check yourself, if you're feeling very angry or very upset about something, check yourself, or maybe stay home! No but seriously, check yourself, see if you can get yourself into a different state. Think about something else. Release it, let it go, because you don't want to bring more of that into your life!
